Apply the energy-conservation tips and if you can reduce at least 10% of your household’s electricity consumption, you qualify for our 10% Energy Challenge Draw!

Eligibility

To qualify for the 10% Energy Challenge Draw (the “Draw”), you must achieve electricity savings of 10% or more when you compare your household electricity consumption in Period A (January, February, March and April) against Period B (May, June, July and August).

For consumption readings of past months, you may refer to the bar chart on the reverse side of your SP Services utility bills (the ‘Bills’). You will only need the June 2008 and September 2008 bills to determine your electricity consumption for Periods A and B.

All citizens and permanent residents of Singapore above 18 years old are eligible to participate in the Draw, except for employees of the National Environment Agency, their immediate family members and any other parties involved in promoting, organizing or conducting the Draw. Participants must be SP Services account holders.

Only one entry per account is allowed. Households sending more than one entry would automatically be disqualified from the Draw.

How to Participate

Hard copy entry forms to the Draw will be mailed to every household in Singapore as part of an Energy Efficiency Kit. Alternatively, you may download the lucky draw application form here.

When making an application, you must have your household electricity consumption figures from January 2008 to August 2008 (inclusive) ready. You can submit your entry to the Draw from September 2008 onwards. All entries must reach us by 8 October 2008.

You will have to keep your Bills dated June and September 2008 for verification of entries upon request.

There is no need to send us your Bills when submitting an entry.

The Draw

The Draw will be held on 1 November 2008 during the Clean and Green Singapore event. All winners will be notified by post. The full terms and conditions governing this 10% Energy Challenge Draw are also available for viewing.
