Climate change is not only a problem for polar bears. Every Singaporean should be concerned. Here is what we might face:
- Rise in sea level
- Hotter days and nights
- Higher food prices due to climate change in countries we import food from
- Change of weather patterns, such as more frequent heavy rainfall
- Resurgence and spread of infectious diseases

Instead, energy conservation today is all about energy efficiency: doing the same things with just a fraction of the energy. It is about doing more with less.
